NPFL Super 6: We are ready to do battle, says Remo Stars Coach

The Chief Coach of Ikenne-based Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede on Tuesday boasted up his team's chances of winning the 2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 6 scheduled for Mobolaji Johnson Arena (formerly Onikan Stadium) Lagos.
With the epoch 2022/2023 NPFL crown set, Ogunmodede said that his team was looking forward to a decent outing against other NPFL top 3 big guns that include, unbeaten Bendel Insurance of Benin, Rivers United FC, Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Sunshine Stars of Akure and Enyimba International FC of Aba.
Ogunmodede disclosed that his team had an ambition to compete in the international championship in the 2023/2024 season.
The club had last time lost out to FAR Rabat of Morocco in the qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Ogunmodede was upbeat about the team's chances as he said that he was aware of what was at stake and is ready to give his best.
"We are going to Lagos to battle and strive to win the NPFL Super 6.
"We are ready", he said.
Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos has been announced as the venue of the playoff and 6 teams will slug it out for the 3 continental slots.
