Nottingham Forest initiate move to return Super Eagles star to EPL

Nottingham Forest are advancing in their efforts to secure the signing of Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City before the transfer deadline. 

Ndidi, the 26-year-old Nigerian international, is in the final year of his contract with Leicester, and talks about renewing his association with the club have stalled after their relegation from the Premier League last season. 

Despite the uncertainty, he has been a regular starter and netted two goals in the early matches of this season. 

He has attracted interest from various Premier League and European clubs, and recent reports suggest he's given the green light to join Nottingham Forest, with negotiations underway. 

Nottingham Forest has officially made an initial proposal to Leicester City for the midfielder's transfer, and discussions have commenced between the two clubs. 

If the move materializes, Ndidi will join Taiwo Awoniyi, Emmanuel Dennis, and Ola Aina as Forest teammates.
