Nottingham Forest hold Brentford to a draw with Dominguez's debut goal

Nottingham Forest, reduced to ten men, staged a comeback to secure a draw against Brentford, with Nicolas Dominguez netting his first goal for the hosts.
The game came to life early in the second half when Moussa Niakhate received a red card for stepping on Yoane Wissa's heel. From the ensuing free-kick, Brentford's captain, Christian Norgaard, found the net with a powerful header from Mathias Jensen's delivery, marking his first goal of the season.
However, the lead lasted only seven minutes as Argentina's Nicolas Dominguez, who joined Forest in September from Bologna, executed a superb diving header that sent the ball looping over Brentford's goalkeeper Mark Flekken.
The match could have gone either way, but neither side managed to find a second goal on a rainy day in Nottingham. Brentford's substitute Neal Maupay, on loan from Everton, had a chance to secure a late winner but failed to connect cleanly inside the penalty area.
This draw meant that both teams missed the opportunity to move into the 10th position in the Premier League standings. It also extended Brentford's winless streak in the league to five games, following their 3-0 victory over Fulham in the second match of the season.
