No Limits FC beat First Bank to secure qualification berth

Following his side's emphatic victory over First Bank FC of Lagos, Beyond Limit FC head coach Olumide Ajibolade has attributed their promotion feat to not just luck but hardwork.
Beyond Limit lost their first game in group B2B 3-2 to Ladegbuwa FC but are able to bounce back from the defeat, wrapping up 5 straight wins to pick up the first playoff ticket.
Olumide Ajibolade-tutored side, whose side is renowned for free flow football, edged Ottasolo FC 2-1 at FC Ebedei Stadium in the first play-off of the highly anticipated encounter.
It is a sweet revenge of what happened two years ago in llorin as Beyond Limits booked a date with the Bankers of the ages.
A brace from Kparobo Arierhi and a goal each from Faruk Ogundare and Chukwudi Isaac condemned the Bankers who had a consolation goal through Saheed Egbeolowo.
Egbeolowo restored parity for Bankers in the 26th minute of the encounter to cancel out Faruk Ogundare's eight minutes strike but the Lagos-based side couldn't sustain the firepower of Beyond Limits whose midfield was marshalled by high flying Ayo Ogungbe.
The final score line means that First Bank will still campaign in the Nationwide League One Division One next season.
From opening match day defeat to Ladegbuwa FC to promotion to the NNL, Olumide Ajibolade responded in awe after the tempo greeted proceedings.
"We didn't get here by luck, we got here by working very hard, with our young lads, Daniel Aiyenugba, 14 and our striker who's just turning 15, there's no limit to what we can do. We will continue to improve as an academy.
"With the support of our president, the future is bright for the team and we will continue to keep growing, there are lots of U-15 players in the Comets that are ready to step up, we as a team will encourage them," he said.
