NNL Super 8: Abeokuta Stormers SC secures Striker to beef up team

One of the clubs jostling for promotion ticket to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Abeokuta Stormers Sport Club, have acquired the services of free scoring Ekiti United's forward, Sodiq Tunde ahead of their Nigeria National League, NNL promotion playoffs. 

Tunde emerged one of the top scorers in the regular season with a number of goals. 

His acquisition to Stormers is expected to boost the team's chances to pick one of the available tickets to the Nigeria top flight. 

Tunde expressed delight to have teamed up with one of the best teams in the country and can't wait to be in action as he's poised to help the Ogun State-based club gain promotion to where he claimed they belong. 

Abeokuta Stormers will be competing with Sporting Lagos, FC One Rocket and Heartland FC in the Super 8 playoffs where two spots are available for the premier league status. 

The NNL playoffs is billed to start on Sunday in Asaba, Delta State.
