NNL side, Nasarawa Utd embarks on pre-season tour of Abuja

The management of Nigeria National League side, Nasarawa United FC, announced on Monday the club's decision to embark on a pre-season tour in Abuja.

The club's Media Officer stated, "We are pleased to announce that we have arrived in Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for our pre-season tour ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign.

During our stay in Abuja, we will play some high-profile and exciting friendly matches against some of the most challenging teams. These matches will take place in no particular order, starting with Category C, then B, and finally A.

We chose Abuja due to its shared, unique features and benefits, which align with our goals. This includes a passion for football and proximity to our fan base.

The 2023/24 NNL campaign kicks off on Saturday, October 28, with our first match against visiting Jedo FC at Lafia City Stadium," he added.
