NNL proposes adjustment to draw as 2024/2025 season draws near

Towards a successful 2024/2025 season, the Nigeria National League (NNL) will make slight adjustments to the pairings in the four conferences of the league.


Chief Operating Officer Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman stated that this change has become necessary to allow the 36 clubs to play and travel closer to their bases.


The NNL board opted to rejig the draw following complaints raised by some clubs after the AGM held last month in Bauchi.


The new draw is being conducted after an agreement was reached with NALCOMA, the umbrella body of clubs participating in the league.


The draw, to be held in Ikenne on Tuesday, October 29, will be attended by coaches and media officers from the 36 clubs, who will participate in a 3-day capacity-building workshop running from October 28 to 30.


The 2024/2025 NNL season is set to kick off on Saturday, November 30, with a Star Match that will be determined after the draw.
