The Nigeria National League (NNL) announced on Wednesday a two-week shift to the start of the second half of the 2024/2025 season. The second-tier league season is now expected to commence in the first week of April 2025 (April 4th, 5th, and 6th), instead of Friday, March 21st, as previously announced.
NNL management stated that the circular regarding the shift has already been sent to all concerned clubs and state FAs.
Consequently, as the Islamic Ramadan fasting period ends at the end of March 2025, the NNL wishes all Muslim faithful success in completing their fasts and the best of Sallah celebrations ahead.
Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, has extended his apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused the clubs.
