NLO Mgt. extends club's registration for a week

The organizers of Nationwide League One have extended registration until April 11th, 2025. 


It can be recalled that NLO had scheduled April 11th as the commencement date for the 2025 season.


The extension is due to difficulties encountered by clubs in completing the registration process, caused by the introduction of new recognition technology.


Similarly, the official kickoff of the league will now take place on April 16th at Bwari Stadium in Abuja.


The 2025/2026 season will fully commence nationwide on April 23rd.


Clubs will compete in 32 centers across the nation, with center winners then battling in round-robin playoffs at 8 centers.


Eight teams will be promoted to the Nigeria National League.
