The Nationwide League One Secretariat has stated that it has received a report of violent conduct by the supporters of Ultimate Synergy FC Lagos, leading to the implementation of significant decisions.
According to its findings, the NLO reported that the supporters of Ultimate Synergy FC Lagos have consistently been causing disorder during matches involving their team.
"It was also reported that Referee Salami Qudus was assaulted by the same supporters of Ultimate Synergy FC after a league match in which the referee was not involved, but because he recorded how the supporters of Ultimate Synergy FC were disrupting proceedings at a league match venue."
In its decision, the NLO stated, "The NLO rules and regulations disapprove of such behavior as stated in Article 4.13(2). Any supporters' club that persistently causes disorder, either at home or away, shall be banned from all league match venues (Section 4.13(3))."
"The NLO reserves the right to require the club with violent supporters to pay for damages for which they might be held responsible before, during, and after any match. Ultimate Synergy FC is required to pay for the medical treatment of Referee Salami Qudus when presented," it added.
