The FIFA Women’s World Cup's 23rd edition has concluded, crowning Spain as the champions after they defeated England in a hard-fought final.

The tournament witnessed an extraordinary African performance, with Nigeria, Morocco, and South Africa breaking through the group stages, marking a historic achievement.

Nigerian player Christy Ucheibe stood out as the seventh-best tackler overall and among the top four for tackles made per 90 minutes.

Bongeka Gamede from South Africa followed closely with 7.0 tackles per 90 minutes.

Ucheibe and Bambanani Mbane were prominent in blocks made stats.

Toni Payne excelled as the top attacking midfielder, while Sakina Ouzraoui and Thembi Kgatlana showcased impressive dribbling skills.

Despite early exits, Kgatlana retained her ranking for most attempts on goal per 90 minutes, while Racheal Kundananji and Kgatlana emerged as the fastest Africans.

South Africa's Kaylin Swart secured the top goalkeeping position, and Nigeria ranked tenth overall in FIFA's team rankings, inspiring a new generation of talent from Africa.
