Nigerians abroad: Tijani, Utaka, Sasere, and Ebere score goals in club victories while Awoniyi's NFFC struggle

Numerous Nigerian players played for their respective clubs on a hectic day of football in numerous leagues and nations.
Muhamed Tijani was the hero for Banik Ostrava in the Czech Republic as his team's brace enabled them to defeat Viktoria Plzen 2-1 at home.
In England, Taiwo Awoniyi failed to capitalize on his opportunities, while Emmanuel Dennis came off the bench as Nottingham Forest succumbed to Manchester United 2-0 at home. The Red Devils' victory moved them up to third place in the Premier League standings.
However, with seven games remaining in the 2022–2023 season, defeat sends Awoniyi and Nottingham tumbling into the relegation zone.

Savour Godwin represented Casa Pia AC in Portugal as they were held to a draw in their away league match. Christy Ucheibe of the Super Falcons was instrumental in SL Benfica Feminino's resounding 6-0 victory over SC Braga.
In a gameweek 11 matchup of the Primera División in Uruguay, Plaza Colonia defeated Cerro Largo 2-0 with a goal by Christian Ebere. Ebere was a part of Nigeria's victorious squad at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2015.
Overall, it was a thrilling day for Nigerian footballers competing in various leagues around the world. Without a doubt, their performances won over the hearts of Nigerian football supporters.
