Here are some highlights from matches involving Nigerian players on Friday, March 29th.
In Belgium, Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha showcased an impressive performance for KAA Gent as they secured a commendable 5-1 victory at home against Standard Liège in their First Division A clash.
Moving to Bulgaria, on-loan Monreal star Chinonso Offor made a memorable debut by scoring five minutes into his first match for Arda. However, visiting Krumovgrad struck back to earn a 1-1 draw inside the Arena Arda in Kardzhali.
In China, Viv Solomon Otabor assisted the equalizer in the tenth minute of stoppage time to help Cangzhou Mighty Lions secure a 2-2 draw away to Shenzhen Peng City in the Chinese Super League.
In England, Leicester City lost their spot as Championship leaders after a narrow 1-0 defeat at Bristol City. Wilfred Ndidi played the full match, while Kelechi Iheanacho came on as a second-half substitute.
