Here are some of the standout performances by Nigerian footballers across various leagues in Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond:


Top Performers


Chidozie Awaziem delivered a solid defensive display for Cincinnati, contributing significantly to their 4-1 victory over Montréal. Awaziem’s performance was highlighted by an assist on Cincinnati’s fourth goal.

 


Paul Ejeh demonstrated his exceptional form in the Finnish Ykkönen by scoring twice in Atlantis Helsinki’s 5-2 win against KuPS Akatemia. Ejeh’s brace continues his impressive streak, having scored six goals in his last five league matches.


In Israel’s Ligat Ha’al, Yusuf Usman played a crucial role in Maccabi Bnei Raina’s 3-1 win over Hapoel Haifa. After Haifa initially led, Usman provided two assists for the winning goals, showcasing his playmaking skills.


Moses Ebiye made a crucial impact for Motherwell by scoring in the 94th minute to secure a 2-1 victory against St. Johnstone. This goal marked Ebiye’s first Premiership goal of the season.

Ehije Ukaki was instrumental in Botev Plovdiv’s 1-0 win over CSKA Sofia, scoring the decisive goal. The victory places Botev Plovdiv within three points of Bulgarian league leaders Levski Sofia with a game in hand.


Jesse Sekidika played a key role in Sabah’s dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Kapaz in the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqa. Sekidika was on the scoresheet as Sabah overturned a two-goal deficit to secure a thrilling victory.
