Niger Tornadoes target first home win against Bendel Insurance

After a less-than-impressive performance in their first home match of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Niger Tornadoes now seek another chance for redemption as Bendel Insurance comes knocking for the Match Day 4 fixture.


The Technical Adviser of the Ikon Allah Boys, Majin Mohammed, will aim to build on their brilliant away performance against Plateau United by securing a home win against Bendel Insurance.


The Ikon Allah Boys, currently placed 3rd on the NPFL table with 7 points, will battle Bendel Insurance, who are in 10th position with 4 points, at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium, Minna, on Sunday.


During the team's final training session ahead of the clash, Mohammed shared his thoughts: "We'll build on our away win, utilizing our home advantage to secure a win for our fans.


"We have used the last couple of days to get used to the playing turf. The players are focused, and the spirit in the camp is high.


"They are aware of the mindset the away team is coming with, knowing full well that we defeated them at home last season, and we are equally prepared."
