Niger Tornadoes return to training after away loss

The Ikon Allah Boys returned to the pitch after the weekend's encounter in Gombe.

The team touched down in Kaduna and rested deservedly but got back to the pitch on Tuesday at Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, for some recovery and regeneration ahead of the visit of league leaders Remo Stars in midweek.

Shortly before embarking on the training session, the technical crew and players held a heart-to-heart interaction and made some tactical reflections on the previous game and how to approach the Remo Stars encounter.

Innocent John-Awori missed the training as he is undergoing recovery for a cut he suffered against Doma United.

Centre-back Alex Emeka and goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo are battling to be fit for the Ikon Allah Boys' home doubleheader against Remo Stars and Plateau United. Enaholo has missed three consecutive games due to injury since the match against Bendel Insurance, while Alex, who missed the trip to Doma, continues his recuperation.
