N'Golo Kante still holds interest in Chelsea despite a disastrous first year under Todd Boehly

Todd Boehly's desire to play for Chelsea has been referred to by N'Golo Kante as a "interesting project," which is a strong indication that he will continue with the team.
Given that Kante's contract is set to expire in June, there has been a lot of conjecture about his future in recent weeks.
The 32-year-old wants to help the team bounce back after a disastrous first season under Boehly's management, according to recent sources, and it appears he will agree to an extension at Stamford Bridge.
“For sure,” Kante told Sky Sports when asked if he wants to be a part of the club’s future. "It’s an exciting project for the club. Unfortunately, this season hasn’t been to Chelsea’s standards.
“But everyone wants to go in this way, the way of success and winning titles. I hope this club will again fight in this direction. Let’s see where I will be but I hope that this is a change for the club, that is most important.”
Since buying the team a year ago, Behdad Eghbali and Boehly have authorised an incredible spending binge totaling more than £600 million. They've also fired two full-time managers, Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel, and they anticipate finishing in the middle of the Premier League standings.
