NFF announces date for President Federation Cup draw

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday announced the date for the national draw for the men's and women's versions of the 2025 Federation Cup competition.


The NFF stated that the draw will take place at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja on April 11, 2025.


With two clubs from each of the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the men's competition will begin with Round of 64 matches after some teams have been eliminated.


This will be followed by the Round of 32, then the Round of 16, and finally the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand finale.


The women's competition will begin with the Round of 32, followed by the Round of 16, then the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand finale.


Meanwhile, the knockout stages (Round of 64) have been scheduled to take place between May 3 and 4, while the Round of 16 will be held on May 14, 2025.


The quarterfinals are slated for June 5, while clubs will battle for the semifinal tickets on June 18.


The grand finale has been fixed for June 28, 2025. The winners of this historic competition will represent Nigeria in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
