Newcastle's record-breaking 8-0 victory Shames Sheffield United at Bramall Lane

Newcastle equaled their record Premier League victory with a sensational performance, humiliating winless Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Any concerns of a European hangover after their midweek Champions League outing were swiftly dispelled as Eddie Howe's team dominated, with eight different players finding the net.
Sean Longstaff opened the scoring for the visitors in the 21st minute, slotting home Anthony Gordon's pass, despite the Blades' appeals for handball and a ball-out-of-play in the build-up being dismissed.
Paul Heckingbottom's home side started brightly but soon found themselves three goals down before halftime, with two of those coming in just four minutes, both from Kieran Trippier set-pieces. Dan Burn headed in a corner at the back post, and Sven Botman scored his maiden goal for Newcastle with a precise header from a wide free-kick.
Callum Wilson missed several chances before halftime but found the net 10 minutes into the second half, heading home another precise cross from Trippier.
As Newcastle appeared to carve through the Blades at will, it was Anthony Gordon who added the fifth goal. The former Everton winger cut inside from the left and expertly curled the ball into the far corner past Sheffield United's Wes Foderingham.
Miguel Almiron slotted in the sixth goal, and Bruno Guimaraes made it seven with 17 minutes still on the clock, leaving the home side increasingly despondent.
Substitute Alexander Isak capitalized on another defensive error, turning his defender and calmly finishing to make it 8-0, mirroring Newcastle's victory over Sheffield Wednesday in 1999.
This defeat stands as Sheffield United's largest-ever league loss.
