NEROS/FA Cup: Solution FC to battle Edel FC in final

Solution Football Club and Edel FC, both based in Awka, will face each other in the final match of the 2025 NEROS Pharmaceutical/FA Cup competition in Anambra.  


Both teams compete in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL), and the match promises top-tier entertainment at the NEROS Stadium in Nanka on Sunday.  


The Anambra edition of the President Federation Cup is sponsored by NEROS Pharmaceutical.  


Solution FC secured a place in the final after defeating Peace FC, also from Awka, 4-1 in the first semi-final match played at the Awka Township Stadium on Tuesday.  


Edel FC, on the other hand, triumphed over Ozalla FC 3-1 on penalties on Wednesday.  


Akonan Obiefuna, Media Manager of NEROS Group, said that the final match is expected to be both competitive and entertaining.  


He urged football enthusiasts across the state to turn out in large numbers to support their favorite teams.
