Galatasaray is considering a potential move for Leicester City's defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, if they are unable to secure their primary target, Tanguy Ndombélé from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from Turkish news channel A Haber.
The Super Lig champions are keen on bolstering their midfield and have identified the Nigerian international as a suitable option.
However, Galatasaray's initial bid for Ndombélé was rejected by Tottenham, leaving the situation uncertain as to whether a second bid would be accepted.
Leicester City's relegation to the Championship, along with the departures of Harvey Barnes and James Maddison to Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively, has raised speculations about Ndidi's potential departure as well.
Ndidi, who has made 237 appearances for Leicester City, scoring 11 goals and providing twelve assists since joining from Genk, has attracted interest from various clubs, including Galatasaray and Nottingham Forest.
As the transfer window nears its close, Ndidi's future remains a topic of interest, and Leicester City may face further challenges in holding onto their key players amid the interest from top clubs in Europe.
