Naze Millionaires announce camp resumption ahead of 2024/2025 season

Heartland FC announced on Friday that the club will begin activities for the new soccer season on Monday, July 22, 2024.


The Naze Millionaires will kick off the season with an open screening for players who are talented and have what it takes to perform at the highest level.


The open screening, conducted by experienced coaches, will start on Monday, July 22, and end on Saturday, July 27. Successful players will be selected and will be asked to join the retained players and some invited experienced players for the second phase of preparations.


The open screening will take place at the practice pitch behind Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, from 7 a.m. daily, Monday through Saturday next week. The club aims to connect with grassroots talent to ensure that the best players who possess the tenacity and hunger to play get the opportunity to feature for the former Nigeria league champions in the upcoming season.


Heartland FC also disclosed that all players attending the open screening will need to cover their own expenses during their stay. Arrangements will be made to support only the successful candidates at the end of the screening.


Heartland FC did not have a good season last term, and efforts have been intensified to ensure the Owerri side makes a strong comeback in the forthcoming season.
