National U-19 Youth League: Mighty Jets seek to consolidate league leadership

The youthful Jets U-19 side will be gunning for all three points to consolidate their top position on the Northern Conference table.


Coach Lawrence Oputa's Jets came from behind to beat Joecas FA 2-1 last week, with a superb equalizer from Ephraim Dalok and a stunning header from Isaiah Pam securing all three points for the Mighty Jets U-19 side.


The Mailantarki Care U-19 side, on their part, are no pushovers, as they currently sit 3rd on the log after their 3-0 rout of Legacy Stars FC.


It is worth noting that the Mailantarki side recently won the 2024 edition of the Dana Cup held in Denmark in July, defeating Lyngdal FC of Norway 3-0.


In addition to their recent record, Mailantarki also defeated the U-20 National side, the Flying Eagles, 1-0 in a friendly encounter.


This surely makes for a good matchup between the Mighty Jets U-19 side and the Mailantarki side, which promises to be very exciting.
