2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 17: Nasiru returns to action, scores outrageous goal against Abia Warriors in Maiduguri

El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri were dominant on Sunday as they defeated the visiting Abia Warriors 3-0 in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 17.  


The President Federation Cup (FA) and WAFU B winners saw their skipper, Nasiru Salihu, as the standout performer on the pitch. After a week on the sidelines due to a knee injury, Salihu made a sensational return, scoring a stunning goal.

Midfield maestro Salihu delivered a triumphant performance, with his second goal of the match being a true highlight, showcasing his skill and determination.  


Thanks to his remarkable and consistent performance, the President Federation Cup Most Valuable Player continues to play a pivotal role in the success of his club.  


El-Kanemi Warriors will next face Sunshine Stars at the Dipo Dina International Stadium for the 2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 18.
