As the management of Nasarawa United FC has given the technical crew and players a standing order of five matches to turn things around, coach Kabir Dogo is under pressure as he prepares to face another coach who might be in a similar situation.
The Solid Miners have been posting underwhelming results recently, which prompted an emergency meeting by the team’s management and owners.

The outcome of the meeting was a resolution giving a standing order for five matches. However, after the order, the Solid Miners lost their first match to 10-man Heartland FC on Match Day 10.
Nasarawa United FC had previously suffered a defeat at the hands of another 10-man team, Kwara United FC, during Match Day 9, disappointing their home fans.
Now, the team faces a herculean task against Plateau United, a team with much to lose if they fail to win their home match.
Kwara United FC had defeated Plateau United FC 2-0 on Match Day 12, and Plateau also managed only a barren draw against the league’s defending champions, Rangers International FC of Enugu, leaving them winless in three consecutive matches.
