The chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman Nagogo, has charged the Lafia ladies to consolidate on the away win over Abia Angels by ensuring that they defeat visiting Adamawa Queens on Wednesday.
Nagogo, welcoming back players of Nasarawa Amazons after the Sallah break, urged the team to secure the maximum 3 points at stake and confirm the team's Super Six spot in grand style.
"Let's win Wednesday's match against Adamawa Queens in grand style as we always do.
"Though it is going to be a tough match, you girls should enjoy yourselves as you win the match."
The chairperson advised those who would not make the lineup for the match day not to feel neglected but to support the team to earn the needed victory.
"We are all one and have the same goal, which is the Super Six that we have already qualified for.
"But we need to win and ascertain that Nasarawa Amazons deserve to be where we are by God's help."
On behalf of the players, team captain Mathais Josephine expressed the gratitude of the players for the Sallah gift, assuring Hajiya Nagogo that the Amazons would do all within their power to win the NWFL fixture in style at the Lafia Stadium.
