Napoli coach compares Osimhen to Real Madrid's Ronaldo

Napoli's coach, Rudi Garcia, has drawn a parallel between Super Eagles' Victor Osimhen and Cristiano Ronaldo, highlighting the shared intensity and fervor displayed by both players on the field. 

Osimhen has notably excelled at Napoli over the past two seasons, notably contributing to their Scudetto victory by netting an impressive 26 goals in 32 Serie A matches last season. 

Despite significant interest from prominent European clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and PSG, Napoli has successfully retained Osimhen's services.

Taking the reins as Napoli's coach this summer following Luciano Spalletti's departure, Rudi Garcia has swiftly recognized the potential in the 24-year-old striker. 

Osimhen has already demonstrated his prowess, securing two goals in three pre-season games. 

Garcia perceives shades of Ronaldo's leadership in Osimhen, describing him as an eager driving force who rallies his team, akin to how Ronaldo does. 

Notably, Osimhen's prowess spans beyond attacking, extending to dedicated defensive efforts and pressing. 

As Napoli gears up to kick off their Serie A campaign against Bologna, Garcia anticipates Osimhen's pivotal role in leading the team to victory.
