Naija Super 8: Remo Stars earns another bragging right over Enyimba Int'l

Remo Stars of Ikenne has gotten thier match revenge over Enyimba International FC during the first game of the Naija Super 8 national tournament with a thrilling 2-1 triumph over the NPL champions.

The opening match pitched both teams against themselves at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena once again making it twice in a space of two months.

The opening match of the biggest off season football tournament in Nigeria, organised by Flykite Productions, have Remo Stars open the scoring through Isaac James after 20 minutes leaving Enyimba’s goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo helpless.

The Aba side fought back and deservedly levelled the scores after Chisom Okereke slotted in the equaliser after a fine pass from Nonso Nzediegwu in 25 minutes..

The first half ended 1-1, but it was Remo Stars that scored the defining goal in the 58th minute, as Seun Ogunribide tapped into the back of the net of Enyimba after a good cross from Isaac James.
