Spartak Moscow engaged in a pre-season friendly against city rivals Torpedo Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium, with Victor Moses, a former Chelsea player, shining as he scored two goals in the second half to secure a draw for the Red and Whites.
Despite Torpedo Moscow's two-goal lead at halftime, Moses narrowed the deficit with a penalty area shot and then equalized with a goal from distance in the dying moments of the match.
Having joined Spartak Moscow in 2020 and making 65 official appearances for the club, Moses's future beyond the current season remains uncertain as he has one year remaining on his contract.
Spartak Moscow will continue their preparations with a friendly against Akron on July 8 at their training base in Tarasovka.
