Millie Bright: "Lionesses and FA agree on player bonuses"

England's football team reached an understanding with the Football Association over bonus-related disputes, according to team captain Millie Bright. 

Discussions had been paused during the Women's World Cup, leading to the players' displeasure. 

Although the specifics of the agreement aren't public, Bright emphasized it extends beyond monetary matters. 

She mentioned striving for excellence both on and off the field. Bright stressed the importance of adapting as the women's sport rapidly changes and ensuring they lead in every aspect. 

Players from countries like Australia, the US, and Spain received bonuses post the World Cup, unlike the English team. 

The discussions with the FA and Professional Footballers' Association commenced in July. During this year's Women's World Cup, players received individual payments directly from Fifa. 

The awards varied, with champions Spain earning the highest. Bright concluded by underscoring the importance of this agreement for the upcoming generation and fostering open dialogue.
