2025 President Federation Cup: Mighty Jets Mata FC of Jos to face Unification Ladies FC in Round of 16

After their smooth passage into the Round of 16 of the ongoing President Federation Cup (Women), Mighty Jets Mata FC of Jos now knows their next opponent.


According to the latest Round of 16 draw released by the Director of Competitions from the Office of the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mighty Jets Mata FC of Jos will face Unification FC of Lagos.


The details of the draw also revealed that the match will be played on May 2nd, 2025, in Anyigba, Kogi State, at 4 pm.


Recall that Mighty Jets Mata FC stunned Delta Babes FC 1-0 in Round 32 at the same venue last Sunday, thanks to Gift Chizoba's fine strike in the 82nd minute.


Their recent achievement makes them the first female team from Plateau State to reach the Round of 16 of the competition, much to the delight of many football stakeholders.


As May 2nd approaches, the technical crew of the team, led by coaches Gadus Frank and Sarah Nnodim Ikechukwu, said that the team would continue to prepare the girls for the much bigger task ahead.
