Messi MLS debut celebrated by celebrities, David Beckham in awe

Leo Messi has made his much-anticipated debut for Inter Miami in the United States, and it was a moment to remember. The 36-year-old Argentine came off the bench in the 54th minute and made a significant impact.

In the 94th minute, he scored a stunning free-kick goal from 25 yards, securing a 1-2 home win over Cruz Azul in the League Cup, a joint enterprise between MLS and the Mexican league.
 
Before the match, Messi received a warm welcome from sports icon LeBron James, who shared a hug and encouraging words with him. Celebrities like Serena Williams, Tua Tagovailoa, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, and Kim Kardashian also attended the game to witness Messi's debut in pink.

However, the emotional highlight of the night was Inter Miami owner David Beckham, who was visibly moved and on the verge of tears after Messi's winning goal. Beckham's efforts to bring Messi to the club took years of planning and pursuit, making the victory even more meaningful.
 
Messi expressed his gratitude to the fans and dedicated the win to teammate Ian Fry, who suffered an injury and had to be replaced in the 30th minute.

The Argentine superstar emphasized the importance of securing wins for the team's morale, especially as they are currently not in a good position in the league.

He was thrilled to deliver a victory to the passionate supporters who welcomed him warmly to his new club.
