Scottish youth international of Nigerian descent, Adedire Mebude, has completed a move to Jupiler Pro League side KVC Westerlo, as officially announced on their website.
Mebude, a talented winger, has signed a four-year contract with the Belgian club and will proudly wear the number 13 jersey.
Having joined Manchester City's Academy in 2020, Mebude showcased his skills while playing for the U18s and development side before deciding to move to Westerlo.
His time at the young Citizens' squad was highly productive, with an impressive record of 30 goals and 34 assists in 71 games.
After making his mark at Manchester City, Mebude earned his first professional contract with the club in 2021, following his initial stint with Glasgow Rangers.
Although he hasn't made an appearance for the senior Scottish National team yet, he has been a regular participant in various levels of international football.
Now, at the age of 19, Mebude is eager to make an impact at Westerlo's first team and continue honing his skills as he progresses in his football career.
The move to the Jupiler Pro League provides a valuable opportunity for Mebude to gain valuable experience and further develop his potential as a talented winger.
