Marcus Rashford Will Ask Manchester United for a Contract Extension Worth £500,000 Per Week

As he begins contract talks with Manchester United, England star Marcus Rashford expects to earn the highest salary in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford wants to stay at Old Trafford and is seeking to negotiate a contract worth £500,000 per week with Manchester United. Despite just having one year left on his present contract, the 25-year-old does not intend to quit his old team. The club and Rashford's discussions have been postponed as a result of uncertainty surrounding United's future ownership.
The Star report: "The deal Rashford wants to get would make him the highest paid star in the Premier League ahead of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and team-mate David De Gea.
"He is willing to sign a deal which would see him pledge his peak seasons and long-term future to his hometown club. But he also recognises it will be the biggest and most important contract of his career and he wants rewarding for the success he's had this season.
"De Gea and Luke Shaw are also in line to be given new deals as well, while the financial implications of signing Harry Kane this summer could also impact on how much United are willing to offer Rashford."
Additionally, the team is putting up replacement transfer prospects for Harry Kane, Arsenal is confident in their ability to land Declan Rice, and Newcastle United has expressed interest in Barcelona center-back Andreas Christensen.
