Manchester United’s Anthony Martial to miss FA Cup final due to injury

Due to a hamstring injury, Anthony Martial of Manchester United will miss Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.
 
The French international hurt himself during Old Trafford's 2-1 victory against Fulham on Sunday.
 
The 27-year-old experienced a muscular injury, according to tests, the club said on Tuesday.
 
After winning the League Cup in February, United would complete a domestic double with victory on Saturday.
 
A victory would also prevent their local rivals from matching Sir Alex Ferguson's United's 1999 Triple Crown feat, since City, the Premier League champion, would also compete in the Champions League final the following month.
 
In 21 Premier League games this season, Martial scored six goals and provided two assists in a season marred by injuries.
 
Since winger Antony was carried out on a stretcher while in tears during the 4-1 victory against Chelsea, United was also concerned about his health.
 
The 23-year-old Brazilian will "probably" recover from his ankle injury in time for Saturday's championship game, according to manager Erik ten Hag on Sunday.
