Manchester United: Erik Ten Hag Fears End of Season for Christian Eriksen is Here

After Christian Eriksen injured his ankle during a January FA Cup match against Reading, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag expressed concern that Eriksen might miss the remainder of the season.

Eriksen is back in the United team for the match against Everton on Saturday at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Ten Hag is pleased that the midfielder from Denmark has arrived earlier than expected.

He is still angry, though, over the way Andy Carroll's tackle led to the injury.
"It was not for nothing I was so angry about that tackle," said Ten Hag. "It was a really bad tackle and a bad injury. I thought we lost him for the whole season.
"He is ahead of schedule and we are very happy with that."

Ten Hag added that England defender Luke Shaw, who was replaced during the first half of Wednesday's victory over Brentford, would miss the contest.
