Nottingham Forest is gearing up for an active summer transfer window as they set their sights on two new signings.
Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga and Nigerian international defender Ola Aina are the club's top targets.
Manchester United has accepted a bid for talented Swedish international, Anthony Elanga, and the deal is expected to fetch around £15 million ($19.3 million).
If all goes according to plan, the transfer is anticipated to be finalized early next week. Forest is also keen on securing the services of Dean Henderson and has been in discussions with Manchester United concerning both Elanga and the goalkeeper.
As of now, no agreement has been reached for Henderson, and negotiations are still ongoing for a potential loan move or permanent transfer.
Ola Aina, a skillful full-back, is currently a free agent after his contract with Torino expired. He is scheduled to undergo a medical examination today, moving one step closer to joining Nottingham Forest.
The 26-year-old previously spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Fulham, gaining valuable Premier League experience. Although born in London, Aina made a switch to represent Nigeria at the international level, earning 17 caps for the national team.
As the new signings take shape, Nottingham Forest aims to strengthen their squad and make a significant impact in the upcoming season, bolstered by the addition of Elanga's attacking prowess and Aina's defensive skills and experience.
