Man Utd are keeping tabs on Neymar, a possible summer transfer if the Qatari acquisition is successful

According to reports, Manchester United is keeping an eye on Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar and may make a move if their planned Qatari acquisition is successful.

Neymar had a strong start to the 2022–23 season, scoring 18 goals in 29 games, but an ankle injury he suffered on February 19 during a Ligue 1 match with Lille has ended his season.

Despite being under a long-term deal with PSG through 2027, there has been much uncertainty around his future in the French capital, with the team apparently wanting to unload the attacker in the summer.

Manchester United has been keeping an eye on Neymar's status for a number of months and has even questioned about his availability during the January transfer window.

The selling of the club, however, caused a halt to the relocation.

Old Trafford's intended Qatari acquisition is likely to be finalized by the end of the summer, at which point United is anticipated to start actual action to recruit Neymar before to the 2023–24 season.
