French Ligue 2 club Troyes has emerged as a potential destination for Super Eagles fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel, who currently plays for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 25-year-old attacker has been the subject of transfer speculation this summer, with several clubs expressing interest in securing his services.
English clubs such as Bournemouth and Leeds United have been linked with Osayi-Samuel, along with Rangers from Scotland. However, no concrete deal has been reached with any of these clubs thus far.
Now, Troyes has entered the race to sign the talented Nigerian forward. Despite their recent relegation from Ligue 1 after a challenging season, the club is eager to bounce back swiftly, bolstered by their ownership under the City Football Group, the same entity that owns Manchester City.
To acquire Osayi-Samuel's talents, Troyes would need to break their transfer record, as he is valued at €7 million, surpassing their current record by €500,000.
The potential signing would be a significant statement of intent from the Ligue 2 side as they aim to strengthen their squad and make a strong push for promotion back to Ligue 1.
