Luka Modric has followed Romelu Lukaku's footsteps by declining a transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal this summer. Despite a staggering salary offer of €200 million over three years, Modric has decided to stay with Real Madrid. Al-Hilal had hoped to attract the Croatia international to their league, which has been attracting star players like Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the report, Modric has already extended his contract with Real Madrid and will remain with the club for at least another year. Since joining Real in 2012, the former Ballon d'Or winner has achieved remarkable success, winning numerous trophies and making 488 appearances for the club. Additionally, he captained Croatia to the World Cup final.
