In his first match of the season, Lookman was instrumental in Atalanta’s performance. He provided the crucial assist for the team’s opening goal and later netted the decisive third goal, showcasing his skill and impact on the field.

Lookman, who is among the 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or, has furthered his case with a remarkable performance this season. Following a hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final last campaign, his recent display against Fiorentina is expected to boost his chances for both the Ballon d'Or and the African Player of the Year award.
