Lobi Stars set for Yobe in All-Stars affairs

Lobi Stars are set to take on Yobe Desert Stars in all-stars affairs Monday at the ongoing Naija Super 8 slated at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan-Lagos Nigeria.

The Makurdi-based side is still basking in the euphoria of the sound victory recorded over arch-rivals, Rivers United following a dramatic comeback orchestrated by David Okoromi and completed by Charles Chibuike to secure the maximum points in an encounter most football pundits described as "spectacular ". 

The former Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL Champions will in an early kickoff fixture tackle Nigeria National League NNL side Yobe Desert Stars who en route to this tournament eliminated NPFL giant Gombe United to pick one of the available tickets for the main tournament. 

Although, the Desert Stars are the underdog going into the crucial tie which is important for the two teams. 

A win for the Makurdi-based side will cement a place in the semi finals while a win for the Desert Boys will give them hope till their final game of the group-stage fixture against Rivers United.

The "Shoe Get Size" boys are fully aware and conscious of the tricky tie and will approach the game with the needed intent devoid of being complacent, aiming at the maximum points upon the regulations time.
 
Playing against a team that is tagged an underdog is demanding and certainly the Makurdi-based side must be clinical and compact with the aid of David Okoromi who has settled down quickly to terrorise opponents wearing the Shoe gets Size Jersey.

Okoromi will rely on Uche Onwuosonaya and Waheed Adebayo for the supply of passes to hurt the Opponent while Tony Agbaji's solidity at the back will prove decisive in the organization just as he did against Rivers United.  

The head coach of the lower division side Emmanuel Olowo will be praying for Benue Born midfielder, James Odey to be at his best to dictate the pace of the game and feed Tony Elaigwu with the passes to make an impact while former Lobi Stars right back Uzor Chinedu to take care of the defence organization to avoid conceding goals. 

Indeed the All-Stars affair will be entertaining with good skill, however, the Makurdi-based side will focus on the needed points after the cracker's duration.
