2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 5: Lobi Stars in eye of the storm as ambitious Shooting Stars come knocking in Lafia

After enduring a frustrating start to the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Lobi Stars will return to Lafia City Stadium to face a more ambitious Shooting Stars SC of Ibadan.


The 2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 5 will be played at the Lafia City Stadium, a place that has once been the fortress of the Alia Boys, but things have since changed as the Markurdi-based team has yet to win a match this season.


Surprisingly, during last season, Lobi Stars topped the league table on Match Day 5, but now there is a complete change of fortune, as they are currently in the last position with just one point.


The Alia Boys have played four matches in the 2024/2025 NPFL season with no wins yet, but they have one draw and three losses.


Shooting Stars, on the other hand, have played the same number of matches with just one win, two draws, and one loss, placing them 13th on the table.
