Lobi Stars FC extends contract of Chief coach, Eugene Agagbe

Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi has announced the contract extension of its Technical Director, Eugene Agagbe, for another two years.


The Yes Father club expressed its delight in announcing that head coach Eugene Agagbe has extended his contract with the club.


His previous contract with the Pride of Benue ended at the conclusion of last season, during which he guided the club to a sixth-place finish in the Nigeria Premier Football League.


Coach Agagbe has officially agreed to continue as the head coach on a two-year contract until 2026.


The club's VC and CEO, Dominic Iorfa, stated that the decision to extend Agagbe's stay at the club aligns with the club's goals to achieve tremendous success in the upcoming season.


A delighted Coach Agagbe expressed his happiness about renewing his contract with the club and pledged not to disappoint with the opportunity given to him.


He also expressed confidence in the caliber of players who will represent the club in the 2024/2025 football campaign, noting that the decision to acquire grassroots players complements the club's vision of showcasing its talent on the global stage.
