Lobi Stars emerged as champions of the third edition of the Gusau/Ahlan Preseason Football Tournament, securing a dramatic 4-3 victory over Wikki Tourists in a thrilling penalty shootout. The final, held on a tense and rainy day, showcased the resilience and skill of both teams, but Lobi Stars ultimately proved their mettle in the decisive moment.

The final match pitted Lobi Stars, a prominent team from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), against Wikki Tourists, a competitive squad from the Nigeria National League (NNL) under the guidance of the seasoned coach Abdul Maikaba.
