Lobi Stars Football Club on Monday dismissed rumors circulating about the resignation of its Technical Adviser, Daniel Amokachi.
It was previously reported that Amokachi had resigned after the team's goalless draw against Heartland International FC. However, the club released a statement confirming that such news was unfounded.
"Lobi Stars FC management has been made aware of baseless rumors claiming that our Technical Adviser, Amokachi, has resigned following the team’s goalless draw against Heartland FC in Lafia. We unequivocally deny this false information and urge our fans and stakeholders to disregard it.
"Coach Amokachi remains fully committed to the team and is well aware of the unique challenges of the Nigerian league. He is resolute in his determination to lead Lobi Stars to greater heights and appeals to our esteemed fans to continue their unwavering support. Your faith and encouragement are crucial to the team’s success.
"Please be assured that any important announcements will be communicated promptly by the Lobi Stars Media Team. For now, let us unite and trust in the leadership of Dr. Philip Nongu to guide Lobi Stars back to its rightful place of glory. We caution those whose stock-in-trade is to cause confusion and unnecessary distraction that they will get their rewards according to their works," the club said.
