Liverpool's difficulties persist but Mohamed Salah’s still having a good season

At Anfield, Salah's 183rd Reds goal made all the difference and tied him with Robbie Fowler for the club's all-time scoring lead.
Liverpool has a fantastic player in Mohamed Salah, even though they are still far from being as convincing as they would like to be.
As he has done so frequently for the Reds, Egyptian King was crucial at Anfield on this occasion. His goal in the 70th minute was sufficient to eventually defeat
Nottingham Forest and keep Liverpool's chances of qualifying for the Champions League alive. Additionally, it brings Salah and Robbie Fowler even on the club's all-time scoring chart.
This game was as tense as it sounds, finishing 3-2. Diogo Jota, whose goal-scoring form is on the rise, gave Liverpool two goals in as many opportunities, but Forest twice answered with deflected goals from ex-Red Neco Williams and Morgan Gibbs-White.
However, with tension high in Anfield, Salah suddenly appeared and steered home a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick in front of the Kop. It was his 183rd goal in a pretty spectacular Merseyside career, and it was enough to earn his club a crucial, fought-for three points.
