Liverpool Thrashes Manchester United 3-0 with Diaz and Salah on Form

Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah were instrumental in Liverpool's commanding 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, leaving Erik ten Hag's team thoroughly outplayed. Liverpool asserted their dominance from the start, with Diaz breaking the deadlock in the 35th minute by heading home from the back post after a mistake by United's Casemiro.

 

Casemiro's second blunder led to Liverpool's second goal, as Salah provided the assist for Diaz to score again just before halftime, sending United fans towards the exits early. Liverpool's control continued after the break, with Salah sealing the victory by scoring the third goal 11 minutes into the second half.

 

Despite United's efforts to respond, Liverpool remained resolute and did not add to their tally, content with their dominant performance. The win maintains Liverpool's perfect start to the season under their new coach, Arne Slot, as they continue to impress with their form.
