Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth: Liverpool wins Premier League match, despite Alexis Mac Allister's sent-off in debut

Liverpool's summer signing Alexis Mac Allister was sent off in his debut home match, but the Reds still triumphed against Bournemouth in a thrilling Premier League clash at Anfield.
Bournemouth initially took the lead within three minutes as Antoine Semenyo capitalized on Liverpool's defensive lapse and fired a precise shot into the bottom corner. Jurgen Klopp's team found their rhythm in a frantic first half, equalizing through Luis Diaz's acrobatic volley from Diogo Jota's assist.
Liverpool surged ahead with Mohamed Salah converting a rebounded penalty, awarded after a challenge on Dominik Szoboszlai by Joe Rothwell. Despite Mac Allister's straight red card for a challenge on Ryan Christie, Liverpool extended their lead as Jota capitalized on a rebound from Szoboszlai's low shot.
The victory leaves Liverpool with four points from two matches this season, following their 1-1 draw with Chelsea, while Bournemouth holds one point from their opening two games.
Despite the win, both managers could find fault with refereeing decisions, including the penalty awarded to Liverpool, which appeared to be a soft decision. Klopp might be disappointed with Mac Allister's sending off, as the Argentine's attempt to win the ball seemed genuine but resulted in a high challenge.
Amidst summer departures, including Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and others, Liverpool secured signings like Mac Allister and Szoboszlai. While central midfield targets Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia chose other clubs, Liverpool's Anfield record continued, having gone 13 Premier League matches without a home loss.
Bournemouth posed a threat and briefly gained hope when Mac Allister was sent off, but Jota's quick response following Szoboszlai's effort eliminated their chances. Despite a late push from Bournemouth, including Alisson's key saves, Liverpool claimed a well-deserved victory.
