Lisandro Martinez: A Broken Foot Will Keep a Manchester United Defender Out the Entire Season

After breaking a metatarsal bone in his foot, Manchester United center defender Lisandro Martinez will be out for the remainder of the year.
The 25-year-old was hurt during Thursday's 2-2 Europa League quarterfinal matchup between United and Sevilla.
When Martinez was assisted off the field with United leading 2-1 in the 86th minute, Erik ten Hag's team was down to 10 men.
Raphael Varane, Martinez's partner in the center of defense, also suffered an injury and is anticipated to be sidelined for a few weeks.

After the Forest game, United will travel to Sevilla for the second leg of their Europa League quarterfinal on Thursday. Three days later, they will play Brighton in the FA Cup semifinal, which Maguire will miss because of a suspension.
